Pradipta K. Mohapatra

Pradipta K. Mohapatra for a decade had been working for US$ 3 Bn. RPG Group as a Director on the Main Board. He provided oversight to a number of operating companies in Retail, Entertainment, IT, and Biotech businesses. During the 90's he was responsible for pioneering India's entry into modern organized retailing through Foodworld, Musicworld, Health & Glow and Giant Hypermarkets. He sits on the Board of many public as well as private companies in India, UK, USA, Japan & China.

Pradipta is an accredited CEO coach and is Co-founder and Chairman of Executive and Business Coaching Foundation India Limited. He coaches and mentors a number of CEO's and Entrepreneurs as well as speaks extensively on business and strategic issues. Pradipta studied Engineering at NIT and Management at Jamnalal Bajaj and Harvard Business School. He was also invited to be a Fellow of Chartered Management Institute, UK. He has been the Chairman of CII Southern Region and was Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu and President of Madras Management Association. Several parts of his professional work have been converted to case studies at IMD - Lausanne, HBS - Boston and IIM - Ahmedabad.

Pradipta co-authored 2009's best seller "India's Global Power Houses" published by Harvard Business Publishing.

Jai Subramaniam, co-founder of Shop 4 Solutions is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years experience in the financial / real estate markets with a deep insight of the workings of the retail industry. He was the CFO of Landmark.

Hemu Ramaiah

Hemu Ramaiah is the founder / ex CEO of the Landmark chain of book / leisure stores. Hemu Ramaiah started this exciting brand in 1987 and created a chain of eighteen stores across the country. Landmark is known for its well designed stores, a wide range of international products and legendary customer service.

Hemu was also instrumental in getting Landmark the ISO certification which was a first in retail in the country. Landmark has a track record of continuous growth in sales and profits over the 20 years that she was involved in the business. She also set up the one of the biggest e-commerce sites in books in India called landmarkonthenet.com.

She also founded a distribution/import/publishing company called Westland Books. Hemu has always been a trend-setter whether in design, technology, concept or product.
